This is a two days course + case studies which covers Swedish Body Massage. Swedish massage is a whole-body therapeutic massage treatment that works the soft tissues and muscles to help restore health – creating a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system. You will learn the various massage techniques in order to provide the best Swedish Body Massage for your clients. This course is open to beginners.

Important Information

All of our courses include a theory session which will teach you areas such as the relevant anatomy, contraindications to treatment, health and safety, what equipment is required, step by step procedure and much more. Following this theory session is a tutor demonstration and practical session.

This training is done in small groups of between 1-4 students. You will all practice under the supervision of a qualified teacher. Following the course you will be required to complete at least 2 more case studies (massage treatments) that you’ll need to write up and submit following the course for evidence.

This course will require a model. If you have any friends or family willing to be a model we can use them free of charge. If however you do not have a model please contact us to discuss as have options to assist.

The course is structured around theory, and home study, homework assignments, and online and onsite class-room tuition, practical demonstrations, online exam, complete portfolio reference and evidence. We will provide you full support and give you a guideline throughout until you complete your course.

You don’t need to bring a model

We understand that finding a model for practical assessment can be very frustrating and a big hassle. We will provide you with a model for practical work, but if you prefer to bring your own model you are welcome to. We want to see your success and complete this course with full confidence. We ensure you have enough theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Cancellation and Refund policy:

All course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Where cancellations are permitted, at the discretion of the Academy management, they must be received in writing and this must be within 7 days of making payment, and must be received not less than 7 days before the course commences.
